  4. WinDates is reminder program that allows you to enter important dates and
  5. times to remember during the year.  By installing the WinDates icon in your
  6. "Startup" program group, WinDates will remind you of events each time
  7. you start Windows.
  8.  
  9. HOLIDAYS
  10. WinDates AUTOMATICALLY calculates and reminds you of many holiday's such
  11. as Mother's Day and Father's Day which can be hard to remember since they
  12. may fall on a different date each year.  International users may visit the 
  13. Rockin' Software Web Site, shown below, to share or find out holidays for 
  14. their country.

  16. ALARMS
  17. WinDates allows you to specify alarm times for events and be warned about
  18. upcoming events by an alarm sound and dialog window.
  19.  
  20. INSTALLATION
  21. To install WinDates, you must run the 'install.exe' program included with 
  22. WinDates.  From Program Manager or Windows 95 or NT40 Start button, select the 
  23. Run menu item.  Enter the full directory path and name of the 'install.exe' 
  24. program.  Follow the install instructions.  WinDates files will be 
  25. uncompressed into a new directory and the WinDates icon will automatically 
  26. be created in the 'Startup' folder.

  28. UPGRADE
  29. To upgrade from version 1.2 of WinDates, follow the instructions given above.
  30. Be sure that you install WinDates 2.0 in the same directory that 1.2 was 
  31. installed in.  After installation, the first time you run WinDates 2.0, you
  32. will be asked if you want to convert the version 1.2 events data file.  Select
  33. Yes if you would like to use events previously entered through version 1.2.

  36. SHAREWARE DISTRIBUTION
  37. WinDates is shareware.  For Registration information, please refer to the
  38. on-line help.  You are encouraged to distribute the unregistered version 
  39. of this program to Internet sites, Bulletin Boards, Shareware Archives, CD-ROM's, 
  40. etc.  Shareware disk vendors may also freely distribute this program.
